When I’m not working as the Programs Manager for Global Learning Partners, I volunteer as a trustee for a local not-for-profit organization for creative writers and book publishers. Every event in which I’m involved – Board meetings, state-wide literary awards ceremonies, informal gatherings of writers – is designed using the principles and practices of Dialogue Education™ and I’ve generated a bit of a buzz because of it in our state’s literary community. Now I’m on my way to becoming certified as a Dialogue Education™ Practitioner.

Before I worked for GLP I was introduced to Dialogue Education™ like so many of you may have been: through Jane Vella’s books! And following that I took Learning to Listen, Learning to Teach and more recently participated in SURE-Fire Meetings. I have officially been spoiled for other learning events (oh no, not another panel discussion!) and I’ve developed the skills to design meetings and ceremonies and gatherings in such a way that the participants have a blast and come back wanting more. Not only that, but they learn some things in the process that have the power to transform their lives.

Join me and check out what it takes to become a certified Dialogue Education™ Practitioner by reading all about it here.
