Welcome to Tamara Atkins McGraw!
I'm delighted to join
Global Learning Partners as Logistics Coordinator, to
help pull together the many ongoing organizational details in
this vibrant, thriving, ever-evolving organization.
I was born in Toronto, Canada, and following
high school I headed overseas for adventure and exploration.
I eventually returned to Canada and, combining a desire for
more travel with the desire to further my education, I completed
a university degree in psychology at the University of Victoria
in British Columbia. My path led me back to Toronto, where I
was utterly captivated by my first look at the Internet in the
mid-1990's. Since then, I've been involved in project management
in the Internet field, while keeping touch with other parts
of the community through ongoing work in a shelter for the homeless.
In my spare time I'm an avid hiker,
camper, and photographer, and my favourite times are spent wandering
in the woods of Ontario with my husband and our dog.
