Paula Berardinelli, Ed.D., Chief Of Operations
Paula was first introduced to Dialogue Education™ in a class with Dr. Jane Vella in 1990 at UNC Chapel Hill – School of Public Health. Since then, as a lifelong “edupreneur”, she has been taking learning to task in her work as a faculty member in higher education, as a trainer and consultant in human resource development, as a business founder and owner, as an education subject matter expert for software development, as an author and scholar, and most significantly as a Mom.
Her early work with individuals and groups in health education led to the exploration of understanding learning in organizations and the co-authorship of
How Do They Know They Know? with Drs. Jane Vella and Jim Burrow. Paula continues to blend learning and technology as a graduate adjunct professor in the Master of Education Program at Keiser University.
Prior to joining GLP, Paula was the Director of Career Sciences at Futures Inc. where she led the research, training, and educational efforts of the company. Under her direction, the company built needs assessments, talent mapping to educational programs and career identification into its line of talent management products. Her work has been instrumental in creating the holistic approach of the company’s products, which connect all stakeholders in the career exploration and talent development process.
She served as an assistant professor in the training and development program at N.C. State University as well as an administrative post with the North Carolina Community College System’s Virtual Learning Community. She co-founded the jewelry company Charles & Colvard (CTHR), and consulted with Development Dimensions International (DDI), working with firms such as Johnson & Johnson, IBM, GlaxoSmithKline, Motorola, and International Paper.
Paula holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Planning and Administration and a Master’s degree in Health Education from The Pennsylvania State University. She received her Doctorate in Occupational Education from North Carolina State University.
