Certified Dialogue Education Teachers (CDET)

Why a Renewed Certification Process?

Global Learning Partners’ (GLP’s) mission is to improve the quality of learning and teaching through the use of Dialogue Education (DE) principles. GLP’s goal is to cultivate a network of active, skilled Dialogue Education practitioners and qualified teachers whose work has a positive impact on individual and collective learning and teaching. In the light of this mission and to achieve this goal, we offer two types of certification in Dialogue Education to graduates of the GLP Dialogue Education series of courses.

The new GLP owners’ partnership is committed to supporting and growing the Dialogue Education community worldwide. We intend to do this through a renewed and infused network of highly skilled and qualified DE Practitioners and Teachers. We intend to build this network one learning opportunity at a time. We offer this renewed certification process to assure a high standard of practice promoted by GLP and to give those who wish to invest in this level of certification personal satisfaction and professional development worthy of their own personal and professional networks. Through this certification process we invite you to partner with Global Learning Partners to promote and access opportunities for improving the quality of learning and teaching locally and around the globe.

Two Kinds of Certification

1) Dialogue Education Practitioner (DEP) certification is intended for those who develop their skills in the use of DE principles while applying them in their own work settings.  Dialogue Education Practitioners will get their work recognized and supported by GLP, the DE community worldwide and others in the professions of learning and teaching.

2) Certified Dialogue Education Teacher (CDET) is intended for those who have developed their skills, knowledge and attitudes to the point that they are ready to teach GLP’s Dialogue Education courses under an individual or organizational license with GLP across the globe. This designation will significantly enhance their professional portfolio and potentially move to further development of their own business practice as teachers, facilitators, or consultants.
