International
Participants
Over 3,500 graduates
in 60 countries have used dialogue education to transform their teaching, training,
and public education work in the voluntary, government, private and academic sectors.
Sometimes
our teachers are privileged to go to another country to teach one of courses to
a group within an organization. Sometimes individuals from other countries travel
to Canada or the United States in order to participate in one of our public courses.
If you are interested in coming to North America to participate in one
of our public courses, you will need to consider the following:
Visa
Application
You may need a visa to enter Canada or
the United States. Because of world events, visa applications are subject to a
greater degree of security than in the past. Greater security means a longer waiting
period. You will need to begin your visa process well in advance of your travel
dates.
Visa requirements vary from
country to country. Contact the Canadian Embassy or Consulate (if the course is
in Canada) or the United States Embassy or Consulate (if the course is in the
US) where you live to determine if you will need a visa and/or a visa support
letter to visit. (You may apply for a visa at any consular office, but it may
be difficult to apply from outside your country of permanent residence).

Need
an Invitation Letter for Visa Purpose?

you have registered for a course and

your request we will send a letter to support your visa application. Please include
the following information in your e-mail request:
- Full
Names (including title)
- Date,
place, and country of birth
- Passport
number
- Date, place,
and country of passport issue

the Consulate or Embassy in your country provided guidelines for support letter,
please include these in the email.
Requests
for visa support letters must be received at least two months prior the start
date of the course. We recommend however that you begin the visa application process
well in advance of this deadline.
We will
