"The deep lessons [this book] contains creep on you and flower into joyful insights. Jane Vella is one of the most gifted adult educators I have known."
-from the Foreword by Malcolm S. Knowles, Professor Emeritus, North Carolina State University
I just wanted to send some words of "thanks" as I have just read the revised edition of Learning To Listen Learning To Teach book. I was touched and could reflect on my previous M.Ed studies of Knowles, Lewin, and Freire.
Not only that, but the concepts of David Kolb and his experimental learning approaches fit nicely with the quantum thinking through the concept of dialogue education.
Not only that, but the power of dialogue education is so vital in learning new languages, as it represents a realist situation for the learners and all those involved. I have found this communicative approach very successful, practical, and holistic while I have spent the past two and a half years teaching English is rural parts all around the world.
Thanks for providing such a wonderful research! I will continue to spread the knowledge about this book to the rest of my peers around the world.
Respectfully,
Sydney A. Merz
